In this topic, we'll show you how to commit & start, stop and restart activities.

Commit & Start Activities

1. Click on the Schedule module from the left navigation.
   
     
   
   
2. Click on Published Project Plan from the drop-down list.
   
     
   
   
3. Right click on the activity, that you want to commit & start.
   
   
   
   
4. Click on Commit and Start from the action list.
   
     
   
   
5. Click on the Yes button. The activity will be successfully started.
   
   
   
   
6. The activity status will be changed to In Progress.
   
   

Stop Activities

1. Right click on the activity, that you want to stop.
   Note: Please note that you can only stop an activity which is already in progress.
   
     
   
   
2. Click on Stop from the action list.
   
     
   
   
3. Select a reason from the list.
   
     
   
   
4. The activity status will be changed to Activity Stopped.
   
   

Restart Activities

1. Right click on the activity, that you want to restart.
   
   
   
   
2. Click on Restart from the action list.
   
   
   
   
3. Click on the Yes button. The activity will be successfully restarted.
   
   
   
   
4. The activity status will be changed to In Progress.
